About Me

When embarking on a process of psychotherapy (whether alone, or as a couple), I don’t believe there is much more important than a natural “fit” between therapist and client.

Therapy is ultimately a pursuit of truth: what is true for you, how those truths came to be, and what that means and will mean. This can be a little daunting, and requires conditions of safety. For this reason, I prioritise client comfort in my practice, even above tool, technique and modality. Having said this, theoretically I integrate approaches from Psychodynamics, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Transactional Analysis, and even mainstream coaching, to name a few, to optimise good outcomes for my clients.

For couples, born of some of the frustrations of typical relationship therapy, I have developed a program I call “RELATIONSHIP REHAB”, which consists of intensive, 3-hour marathon sessions, supplemented with very structured, video-and-PDF homework learning to scaffold in-treatment processes.

I am wholly invested in my clients’ sustainable growth.
